Information Systems:Google Apps (Postini)

Prior to 2015, uniPHARM utilized Postini as its inbound spam filtering provider. After the purchase of Postini by Google, the Postini service/code was integrated into the Google Apps suite of services. This forced Postini users to migrate to Google Apps. While this migration was initially considered, it turned out that the special user structure uniPHARM maintained in Postini could not be migrated to Google Apps. The transition was thus abandoned in favor of another spam filter service provider - Barracuda Networks.

Because extensive work was done in exploring the Google Apps suite of services in anticipation of the transition, this page will be dedicated to detailing the function of Google Apps for record-keeping and for any future consideration of their services. Google Apps is becoming widely adopted by organizations large and small, and this page will describe how and what it can do for uniPHARM in the future.
