==Overview==
*Working with Standing Orders describes the process of setting up and applying standing orders.
*You can use this routine for distributing depreciation over the year, or for other periodic reservations for income and cost.
*You can apply the standing orders in two ways: automatically or manually.
*When applying automatically, the system updates the posting in the General Ledger when executing the period roll-over. The system selects only those standing orders that are relevant for the new accounting period.
*When applying manually, you manually update the postings in the General Ledger to the selected period.. You can apply standing orders in all previous open periods.
*A standing order can be scheduled for several or all accounting periods of the year.
