Procedure For Creating An Adecco User Account

# Log into Infonet
# Click on Adecco Users in the IT menu
# Click the Import Users button and wait for the chart to appear
# Click on the Name field and make sure the cursor is to the very left beginning of the field
# Type in the full name of the Adecco associate example Joe Shmoe
# Choose a job from the pull down menu
# Click Add and wait for the web page to display the created username and password
# Write down the username and password and log out of Infonet
# Login to a green screen and go to the warehouse/reports and labels menu
# Open the Badge Labels screen and type in the username and password
# Make sure the print queue is set to a label printer
# Press enter twice to print 2 labels
# Write on both labels the name of the Adecco associate and give them to GeraldP
# Open the file \\superserver\tech\common\adecco users on the iseries\user profiles.xls and add in a record at the bottom of the spreadsheet with the Adecco’s name and username and password and role such as picker or shipper

Important Information

Check that the Adecco associate that you are making a login for already has one from the past. It is not uncommon for associates to leave UWD and then come back the next year.

New associates with very long names or very common names may force the automatic program to generate duplicates or usernames that don’t exactly follow the naming convention.

To reprint a badge barcode that got lost or mangled, go to the same green screen in steps 9 and 10 and reprint with information from the spreadsheet in step 14.

Once per year, get an Adecco staff list from the on site rep and disable any Adecco users that are not on the list in the Infonet screen in step 2.

If you need to make an Adecco picker, for example, into a Returns worker, go to the "Adecco Users" page in Infonet and click on the "BuildRet" link next to their username.
