To add a new short code –

- Go into ‘Work with UX Extension Tables’, and add to tables ‘UX’ ‘ITEM SHORT’, and ‘AS’ ‘SHORTCODES’.

- Add to the ASW ‘Lost Sales Reason’ table.

- Add to program PLZUT090 (Get short code/descr from item user data)

- Add to IOPOMS01 (Create and send Order Confirmation Message)

- Add to ITEMINFO (Build single file of item information) if a new short code is added that should show the item as inactive.

- Add to IXRIQ777 (Items -- Item Search) if a new short code is added that should show the item as inactive.

- Review IN_VENOS1A, and 2A (Vendor out of stocks for InfoNet)

- Add to WSITMSTS (Get item availability status and price) when getting expected delivery date.

- Also WSITMVAL (Validate item, return avail, price, etc.) when getting expected delivery date.

- Add to PLZUP050 (PLZ -- Reset short code if inventory found) to clear short codes of A (uniPHARM short) or B (manufacturer short) if an item is on hand. This is called every night by EODRPT.
