Overview

This page outlines the process for setting up a new Unipharm employee / staff member.

Main areas where user profiles have to be defined or linked to AD/green-screen profiles:

  • Active Directory domain user
  • IBM i user profile (green-screen/Mocha access)
  • ASW profile for IBM i user
  • UNITY user profile
  • MS365 Mailbox
  • Moodle user (linked to AD user)
  • Unipharm wiki user (linked to AD user)
  • WiNG wireless (staff WiFi)
  • Kofax scanning profile, if applicable (linked to AD user)
  • DocView permissions (IBM i user profile)
  • Xerox scanning profile, if applicable

Instructions

  • Create AD user, verify group membership if copying another user, or set manually. Also, check if there is not a duplicate user which could be checked under Adecco Users on Infonet.
  • Use Navigator or green screen to create IBM i user profile. Also copy existing user for convenience.
  • Go into Unity (green-screen) and follow the Path->System Administration -> OMM Menus -> Work with User Security.
  • Press F6 to add a user.
