DHCP address after a power test
Sometimes, probably after a power test, the mail machine will go from a staticly set IP of 172.30.17.2 to a DHCP assigned IP address. When this happens, the mail machine will not be able to communicate with PB because of the firewall rules. The firewall only allows to the mail machine to use FTP when it's IP address is 172.30.17.2. FTP is required for the mail machine to talk to PB.
Oversized mail/parcel weight restriction
Pitney Bowes confirmed that oversized mail/parcels over 500g now have to be processed through Canada Post directly (took effect mid-2016), and can no longer be processed on the mailer. This likely only affects Returns, as they apparently send out packages using the mailer. There is now a sign explaining this information where the mailer sits.
