Overview

This page discusses the Apache HTTP server instances associated with WebSmart on Bart.

Configuration

There are 3 WebSmart Apache instances on Bart, each intended to separately serve Web Orders, Infonet, and Web Test. Currently, only the Web Orders and Infonet Apache instances are being used. It is important to understand the difference between an Apache instance and a development environment. An Apache instance is a web server, communicating over an IP and a port (or multiple IPs and ports), and serving out the files (web pages) in a directory. A development environment involves an Apache instance, but more specifically describes the folders and libraries that house development content. To illustrate
