FTP credentials for downloading invoice files off the Purolator FTP site. These are uploaded once per week. They are currently still being emailed to Gerald/John, but technically they are now only supposed to be retrievable only by FTP. The invoice file will be in the OUT folder.
- FTP Server: ftp2.purolator.com
- Username: 24247882
- Password: f7Yn(9Ja#Y
- Change Mode to Binary
- Change remote directory to OUT
- GET or MGET the latest files - since this is a manual process compare what file dates are present on the SuperServer and download what we don't have to a local temp folder
- Open the csv file in Excel and change columns CD and CE and FC to a number format with zero decimal places
- Then save as a CSV to \\SUPERSERVER\Distribution Centre\Richmond\GeraldP\Freight GP\Purolator\Raw Invoices
- Answer YES to the formatting question
- Repeat for each new file on the Purolator FTP site
Please try and leave a copy of the file on the FTP site and just download a copy for our use. I use the free FTP client FileZilla. It's so clever, because it's like Godzilla, but for files. (I know right?!)
