Panel Values
These are used in some ASW programs as selection codes for different values. For example, in ‘Sales Order Inquiry’, the one character fields before ‘document number’, ‘customer/supplier number’, ‘customer reference/order number’, and ‘shipment marking’ are codes that further define the value you are entering.

Adding a New Panel Value
To add a new item cross reference type, we have to add it to the ‘Item Cross Reference Type’ table, and as a panel value.
In ‘Panel Value Control File Maintenance’, position to group ‘CROSREFTYP’.
