Overview
This page outlines the process for setting up a new Unipharm employee / staff member.
Main areas where user profiles have to be defined or linked to AD/green-screen profiles:
- Active Directory domain user
- IBM i user profile (green-screen/Mocha access)
- ASW profile for IBM i user
- UNITY user profile
- Lotus/IBM Notes user
- Moodle user (linked to AD user)
- Unipharm wiki user (linked to AD user)
- WiNG wireless (staff WiFi)
- Kofax scanning profile, if applicable (linked to AD user)
- DocView permissions (IBM i user profile)
- Xerox scanning profile, if applicable
Instructions
- Create AD user, verify group membership if copying another user, or set manually.
- Use Navigator or green screen to create IBM i user profile. Also copy existing user for convenience.
- Go into UNITY (green-screen), System Administration -> OMM Menus -> Work with User Security (if prompted for password, just press Enter).
- Position to or search for existing user to be used a template, use 8 beside the entry to copy user into a new UNITY user matching green-screen username.
- Configure MA (menu authority) for new user by entering MA beside their name. F10 to copy from existing user. Leave Menu name blank and just enter the source and target user profiles to copy all menu authorities.
