Kiwi syslog exists on the WDS server. It has its maintenance renewal each November through SolarWinds
Current version: 9.6.3
When upgrading: https://documentation.solarwinds.com/en/Success_Center/KSS/Content/KSS_Upgrade_Guide.htm
Steps:
- Downloaded kiwi 9.7.1
- Installation required removal of previous version
- Username adminstrator, NewVisionIT
- Web access administrator, NewVisionIT2051!
How to reset your Kiwi web access user account
This scenario is when you are not able to login due to forgotten credential.
Environment: Kiwi Syslog 9.5;Kiwi Syslog 9.6
On the Kiwi Syslog server:
- Stop the services listed below from services interface. (services.msc)
- Kiwi Syslog Server
- UltiDev Web Server Pro
- UWS HiPriv Services
- UWS LoPriv Service
- Run the Web Access installer, default location is specified below.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Syslogd\Setup\KiwiSyslogWebAccess_X.X.X_Setup
- Specify your new Password.
- Select Modify and run through the process.
- Start all the services below.
- Kiwi Syslog Server
- UltiDev Web Server Pro
- UWS HiPriv Services
- UWS LoPriv Service
- After it has completed, try to login again with the new password.
