For the convenience of our shareholders and customers, the price they pay for an item is printed on the price tickets. But it is encrypted so that their customers can’t read it.

This is done by replacing the numbers with the corresponding letters from a key word. This word has to be ten characters long, with no repeating letters.

All shareholders and customers are setup, by default, to use the word ‘PATHFINDER’. Currently, one shareholder (Valley Evergreen), is using ‘MELBORACIS’.

This is setup in partner user defined fields, under ‘COST ENCRY’. If this is not setup, or is blank, cost will not print on the price tickets.

For example, a cost of 14.62 would show as PHNA.
