Information Systems:Rogers Wireless Corporate Phone Plan
Overview
uniPHARM has 11 lines with Rogers under the Business Bundle 60 ($60 per month) corporate plan, which entitles each user to:
- Unlimited local calling and messaging
- 500 Canadian long-distance minutes
- 3GB pooled data (3GB x 11 = 33GB pool)
These lines are corporate-owned and are under contract. They are not limited to use with any particular device. To my understanding, uniPHARM historically has purchased Blackberry devices in bulk during contract re-negotations. These are strictly hardware purchases and by no means are the corporate lines restricted to use only on those devices.
Discounted personal plans
As a business partner of Fraser Valley Wireless, uniPHARM employees are entitled to a discount on Rogers' current Share Everything plans (the plans found on their website). The discount is 10% off the regular price. This benefit is purely in the form of access to a discount - in no way is the plan associated with the company other than initial sign-up verification. Basically, you must prove that you are an employee of the company to be able to access the discount, but after that the plan is entirely yours (i.e. billing). There is no periodic re-verification, meaning that your discount is unaffected even if you leave the company. Proving that you are an employee of the company is also a trivial process - you must simply provide your unipharm.com email address so that a link (containing a unique token) can be emailed to you (it is very much like an account creation email confirmation when you sign-up for something online). You then proceed to signing up for a plan through that link, which is how the discount is applied.
Note: This is completely independent of the corporate plan described in the previous section. This discount is the only offer extended to internal staff and shareholders (i.e. employees of the company) i.e. they cannot sign up for the corporate plan as those lines are corporate-owned.

norwizzle (talk) 13:25, 18 July 2016 (PDT) - The flyer linked above is the most recent in terms of plans offered, but the discounted prices are currently inaccurate. First of all, the discount is 10% while the prices reflect a 15-18% discount. Secondly, after speaking with the account rep, the discount may potentially be increased to 20%, as we exceed the 100-employee mark when shareholders are included. This process is pending.
