Application Menus
On a command line in ASW, key in GO MEDEA and press enter to go to Menu Handling Tasks.
Select option 1 ‘Work with menu items’.
Press F11 to Display by description.
In ‘Position to’ key in the beginning of the menu option description you are looking for (must be exactly the same, including case) and press enter.
Key a 5 in front of the menu option to view it.
The first parameter listed under ‘Command to execute” is the name of the program. In this example, INVR533 is the program that is run.

Find a Particular Menu Option
WRKQRY.
Option 1 Enter.
Enter to Specify File Selection.
File is SROMOP; library is blank. Press Enter twice.
Put option 1 beside Select Records, and press Enter.
Field is MOMOPD. Test is LIKE. Value is ‘%xxx%’, where xxx is a word or phrase from the menu option you are searching for. The case must match. Press F5 to run.
Make note of the Menu Option Name.
To exit, press Enter, F3, change Save Definition to N, and Run Option to 3. Press Enter twice.
Key in GO MEDEA to go to the Menu Handling Tasks Menu.
2 Work With Menus
F9=Menu items - Where used
For Menu Item, key in the Menu Option Name from the above process, and press Enter. This will show the menu this option runs under.
If you don’t know how to navigate to this menu, you have two options. One is to key GO MENU-NAME to go directly to that menu. The other is to continue using Where Used to find where this menu is called from. For Menu Item, key in M_ and the menu name. Continue working backwards with this method until you find a familiar location.
