Information Systems:Sending messages to shareholders on the uniPHARM website

Overview

The uniPHARM website allows users (with Administrator-level permissions) to send messages to shareholders and customers (i.e. Web Orders users). Messages can be accessed through the link on the landing page (where all users are redirected after a successful login), as shown below.

Sending a message

• Enter the My Messages page.
• Click the New Message button.
• Enter the subject and the message.
• Hit Submit. Note: This will direct you to a confirmation page showing the list of recipients that the message will be sent to.
• Hit Submit again to send the message.

Other notes

• Use the autocomplete in the To: field to show available recipients.
• The 'New Message' button only appears if you are authorized to send messages. Contact I.T. if you need access.
• Currently, messages can only be sent to groups, not to individual users.
• Recipients cannot reply to messages. This was intended to be more of a broadcast
• Messages cannot be deleted by users.
