There are two 17, 3 numeric fields and two 15 character fields available on the item master file (SROPRG), and one of each type on the warehouse balance file (SROSRO). To set them up, go to -

ASW / System management / Application setup / Logistic setup tasks / Distribution setup tasks \ Application control tasks / Work with DIS control file

Press enter until you see this screen (4 times), then key in the description(s) you want. They will be seen in item maintenance.
