Accounting Finance:Standing Order-Work with Manual Standing Order

Overview
- When applying standing orders manually, you manually update the postings in the General Ledger to the selected period.
- You can apply standing orders in all previous open periods.
- A standing order can be scheduled for several or all accounting periods of the year.
Apply Standing Orders Manually
- Select Home→System Management→Application Setup→Financial Setup Tasks→General Ledger Setup Tasks→G/L Accounting Control Tasks→Standing Order Tasks→Apply Standing Orders Manually
- The system proposes the current period in which to apply standing orders.
- You can change the period to another one, if it is not yet closed.
- Click enter
- Mark the standing order you want to apply
- Click enter
- On this panel you have the option to change the transaction amount before you apply the standing order.
- To change the transaction amount, mark the transaction you want to change and press enter
- The system shows a subsequent panel for you.
- Change the transaction amount and update the information.
- To apply the standing order select apply group or click F8
- If you do not want to apply the standing order group you have selected, you can inactivate it.
- Mark the group with the code for INACTIVATE and click enter OR click F3 to display the update panel
- The system shows the final panel where you enter the printing parameters.
- Click enter to update the postings in the General Ledger

- Manually update a standing order you have created in FIN-GL-007.
- Manually update the standing order a second time, using a different period, and change transaction amounts.
