The old page regarding Carrier Interface in Infonet has been moved.

Overview

Carrier Interface refers to the system that manages freight data (EDI between us and transportation companies) e.g. shipment tracking and freight invoice data. The term mostly refers to the Carriers section of the InfoNext website, but also encompasses the backend programs that import and process the data.

Integrations for other carriers

So far, these are the results of the attempts to get electronic (CSV) invoices for the other carriers:

  • TFI/TForce: Successfully integrated CSV.
  • Rolls Right: Web portal but no electronic invoice possible, only PDF.
  • CF/Canadian Freightways: Web portal but no useful invoice-related reports. Attempted to contact but could not reach anyone.
  • VanKam: Web portal doesn't have the CSV, but have not contacted. (Fun fact: they use IBM i)
  • Bayly Freight: Not feasible.
  • Sea Air: TBA
  • Novex: TBA
