Overview

Freestyle Libre Glucose Reader and Sensors have now been listed on the Unipharm web catalog for all customers to buy, because of the high volume of calls related to these products. These are extremely unique products that come with some limitations our Home Health Care department has informed us about.

Limited Stock

Unfortunately there is a limited amount of stock available in Canada. We have now been added to the allocation but we will not receive any stock until September 2018 as all of the inventory for August was already allocated. Our head of Home Health Care Eliza has put a note on these items to that effect.

Item Expiry

Customer Expiry Information

The sensors for this system come short dated. They arrive in Canada with max 8 months dating. There is one sensor per pack and one sensor lasts 14 days. Because of this short dating issue and because the product is only good for 14 days of use, pharmacies and customers are advised to only order when they have demand, this isn't an item they should have sitting on their shelves.

Unipharm Expiry information

We will also leave this on our shelf until there is about a month's dating left as that should leave time for a customer to order and the patient to use it before it expires.

Return Information

The sensors are also 100% non-returnable. The vendor will not offer any credit on expired stock so we can't afford to have stores returning product that will expire on us because they brought it in thinking it might sell etc. a Non-Returnable note will be in the item description and our head of Home Health Care will be monitoring our inventory carefully.
