Exclude Senders
The event used in this example is one that will be constantly happening, so the receivers will be inundated with alerts. This can be reduced by setting up the event so that the person whose job it is to maintain the name file does not generate alerts.
To see which users will not generate an alert for this event, use option 12.
*VA/480B* Work with senders for events 11/15/04 10:16:51 EDSD00601 Users All ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Event type.......... All users except those specifically excluded will send (or generate) alerts. No users except those specifically included will receive alerts.

When a user receives an alert, they can also be presented with a list of steps they should perform, or ‘Actions’.
