When a user opens a PO in 'Work with Purchase Orders', the PO header records in file SROORPHE is flagged, so that no other process will attempt to update it until the first user is finished. If 'Work with Purchase Orders' does not complete properly, that flag is left on, so that the record remains locked. (Note - a software lock; not a system lock.)
