Here Is A List Of Things To Do When Somebody Gets Fired - Especially When There Is No Checklist
- Power off their desktop or laptop computer
- If they have a BlackBerry device or an iPad – the manager needs to take possession of it
- Disable the persons user account on the Power8
- Disable the persons user account in Active Directory ( this will now disable Superserver access at the same time )
- Open the Lotus Notes Administrator program and add the person to the “Deny Access” group – this will prevent any Lotus Notes logins including iNotes and Traveler
- Log into Barracuda and remove the person’s user account or remove the account and create an alias for someone else like their manager
- Log into the MDaemon email server and either remove the person’s email forward or change the forward to their manager
- Check the Sophos web administration page and remove any VPN access if its there
- Log into the Exware CMS and remove any user accounts the person may have to log into the Shareholder part of the www.unipharm.com or www.medicinecentre.com websites use darrenf and visionit
- If the person has a BlackBerry it can be wiped by using the BES web administration page
- Call Digitel to erase any voicemail and make any configuration changes or password changes to the person’s desk phone
- If the person leaving the company was a warehouse employee make sure to remove their user account from Mirador
- Check with Nancy to see if the person has been denied access to ADP
- Check with Gerald to make sure that the person’s FOB has been recovered and their physical access has been revoked
- Check and record any other tasks that need to be done in the Leaving The Company Checklist on the Superserver.
- When given permission by JeremyM, wipe the computer/laptop and redeploy if possible, otherwise recycle.
