Adding/changing order confirmation email addresses
Stores will sometimes change or create email accounts and will request to have their order confirmations sent to the new address. The OMS program considers two factors when determining the address to which it will send the order confirmation: the source address and the ORDCON field of the CNS database. Which two variables takes priority is currently unknown. If the source address is used, a table of 'redirect addresses' is consulted. For example, if an order is received from 123@abc.com, and an entry exists in the Redirect Address table listing 456@def.com, then the order confirmation will be sent to that address.
The ORDCON field can be modified/added in CNS The Redirect Address table can be manipulated in the OMS menus
